Fees and Minimums (Coming Soon)

🚧

Coming soon

The fee structure and minimums below are not live yet. Until they are, the current minimums apply: BTC 0.001, ETH 0.02, USDT 100, USDC 100.

Every crypto payout will be charged a percentage service fee plus a flat network fee:

total fee = amount x fee_rate + flat network fee

fee_rate is agreed per merchant. The flat network fee covers the blockchain transaction cost, which is the same whatever the amount, and depends only on the network. There will be no minimum fee.

Both fees will be contained in sourceAmount and never added on top of it. Estimate Crypto Payout will return them separately as feeAmount and networkFee.

Flat network fee and minimum payout

AssetNetworkFlat network feeMinimum payout
USDTTron (TRC20)5 USD equivalent5 USDT
USDTEthereum (ERC20)1 USD equivalent5 USDT
USDCEthereum (ERC20)1 USD equivalent5 USDC
ETHEthereum1 USD equivalent0.0001 ETH
BTCBitcoin1 USD equivalent0.00005 BTC

The flat network fee is set in USD and converted into your settlement currency when the payout is priced; USDT is treated as USD. Values may change as network costs change.

The minimum will apply to the amount the recipient receives, not to the amount you send, so sourceAmount will have to cover the minimum plus both fees. A payout below the minimum will be rejected with 400.

Worked example

Sending USDT on Tron with a USD settlement currency and a 2% fee rate:

sourceAmount 100.00 USD
service fee (2%) 2.00 USD
flat network fee 5.00 USD
recipient receives 93.00 USDT

To leave the recipient the 5 USDT minimum you will need to send at least (5 + 5) / 0.98 = 10.21 USD.

Estimates and final amounts

An estimate will be priced at the current rate and not reserved. When you create the payout it will be priced again, so the final amounts can differ slightly from the estimate as rates move:

  • If you specify sourceAmount, the amount you pay and the service fee stay the same; the crypto the recipient receives can change.
  • If you specify destinationAmount, the crypto the recipient receives stays the same; the amount you pay and the service fee can change.
